Summary of grant spending 2016-2017
Objective: To effectively use the Sports Grant to raise the profile of PE and to further secure the outcomes and enjoyment for children with regard to PE, sport and physical activity.

Children access qualified coaches who deliver a range of PE sessions, covering a variety of sports.

Children have the opportunity to work with specialist coaches. Staff develop skills to enhance teaching and learning.

To build resilience within children through sport and physical activity and to develop staff CPD through high quality, bespoke sessions for staff and children (External Provider) £2500

Children and staff access qualified staff who deliver high quality sessions – building CPD over the course of a year with a view to staff then delivering sessions following on from this

To access the cluster lead sports teacher and participate in cluster competitions, including transport to venues. £800
